Vet Records

Here is a summary of the medical requirements for cats staying at the Feline Hotel:

  • Owners promise that all cats will come clean, without any contagious illness, bugs, or parasites.
  • Owners promise to have their front nails trimmed. We can do this for you if needed.
  • Shots for rabies and distemper (FVRCP) done in the last 3 years.
    • Older cats can show records of 3 sets of past shots instead of new ones.
  • Clear tests for FIV, Feline Leukemia, and stool in the last 3 years.
  • Outdoor cats must have recent treatments for worms and fleas/ticks (Revolution is suggested).
  • Cats should not have fleas, ear mites, or other bugs.
  • Cats with diarrhea or discharge from eyes or nose must have a vet’s note saying they’re not contagious.
  • If you don’t bring these records, you might have to pay for a vet check-up, use at-home pet sitting, or we might not be able to take your cat.
  • If your cat has had health problems, send vet records and a email explaining this before scheduling to micathotel@gmail.com
  • We suggest but don’t require vaccines for Bordetella & Feline Leukemia and the use of Revolution.
  • Please send pictures of your vet records through your online account or email them to micathotel@gmail.com before your cat arrives.
